Die-Cast Sanitation Truck
Die-cast vehicles · Role play
It comes with two bins and it really sprays water.
Children who wait at the window for the bin lorry want one that does the job. Fill the tank with the injector, pick a nozzle, and this one sprays the street properly — then the two little wheelie bins get collected round the back. It is die-cast metal, so it has the weight and the cold feel of the real thing rather than a hollow plastic rattle.
Why this one over a plastic bin lorry
The spray is the whole game
A truck that does something real beats one with a sticker of a hose. Filling it, choosing a nozzle and cleaning a patio turns into an hour outside without anyone suggesting it.
Bins mean a job to finish
Two bins to fill, wheel over and empty gives the play a beginning and an end. That is the structure children invent whole routines around.
Metal feels different
Die-cast has weight, the paint does not scuff off in a week, and the opening doors and moving parts survive being driven into a skirting board.
It fits a small hand
At 23 cm it is big enough to feel substantial and small enough to be carried about the house, or lined up with the rest of the collection on a shelf.
In the box
- 1 die-cast alloy sanitation truck
- 2 miniature wheelie bins
- 3 interchangeable spray nozzles
- 1 water injector for filling the tank

Questions about this truck
Does it really spray water?
Yes. Fill the tank using the injector supplied, fit one of the three nozzles, and it sprays. Use plain tap water and empty it out before putting it away.
Is this an indoor toy?
Drive it anywhere, but do the spraying outside or in a bathroom. It is a water toy with electronics inside, so dry the body off afterwards.
What are the foam balls for?
They are the rubbish. Scatter them, collect them into the bins and empty the bins into the truck — which is the routine children repeat over and over.
Are batteries needed?
Driving is pull-back, so that works out of the box. The lights and sounds are battery-powered — message us and we will confirm what is in the pack before dispatch.
Fill the tank, put it on the patio, and bin day happens about fifteen times in a row.
Safety: contains small parts — the bins, nozzles, water injector and foam balls are a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Adult supervision required, use plain water only, and do not spray at faces or at electrical sockets. Empty the tank before storing.
