Design it. Lay out the beads you want on the elastic thread — metallic, neon, pearl, letters, charms. Spell a name or build a pattern.

Bead and twist. Zig-zag the cord around the tube so the beads sit in a neat threaded strand ready to go on.

Slide and style. Hold the styler to a section of hair, press, and air pulls the strand inside. Slide the thread on and secure it with a mini comb.

Does it damage or pull hair?
There is no heat and nothing clamps shut. Air moves the strand into the tube, and the thread slides on and off — it comes out at the end of the day without cutting.
Does it work on thick or curly hair?
It works on a small section at a time, so take thin strands rather than a whole handful. Brushing the section smooth first makes a real difference.
Are the threads reusable?
Yes — slide a finished thread off and put it back in another day, or unthread the beads and start a new design. There is enough cord for a great many strands.
Can a younger child use it?
It is rated 8 and up. The beads are small and the threading needs steady hands, so younger children should only use it with an adult doing the fiddly part.
The first strand takes ten minutes. The tenth takes two, and there is a queue of friends waiting.
